Hominy Ridge Rental Agreement and Policies

By completing your reservation, you agree to the following terms. Violations may result in immediate eviction without refund and/or additional charges to the credit card on file.

1.     Financial & Cancellation Policies

 ·     Rental Deposit:  A 50% rental deposit will be applied when the reservation is made. The final 50% balance will be automatically charged 2 weeks prior to your arrival date. If the credit card on file is going to change, please call us immediately with another card. A 4% credit card fee is applied to all credit card transactions.

  •              Security Deposit: A $250 incidentals security deposit hold is required on all reservations.

Prepaid credit cards are not accepted.

·      Strict No-Refund Policy: There are no refunds for any reason, including early departures. Cancellations, weather, or power outages. We offer optional Travel Protection upon request.

·       Cancellation/No Show Policy: All deposits are non-refundable unless you opt into the "Travel Protection". Cancellations or no shows will be charged the full reservation amount.

2.    Check-in, Occupancy & Visitors

·       Arrival/Departure: Check-in is 3:00 PM; check-out is 11:00 AM. Early Arrivals and late departures are prohibited. Late check-outs will incur a fee.

·       Day Guests (Visitors): All visitors must register at the office and pay a $7.00 per person fee. Visitors must depart by 8:00 PM. Unauthorized visitors will be asked to leave immediately. We do not permit parties of any kind with large groups of people. Please rent a state park pavilion.

·       Overnight Guests: Must be approved by management if the cabin permits. There is a $ 15-per-person fee if approved by management. Unreported guests will be asked to leave immediately.

3.    Dog Policy

·       Approval & Fees: All dogs must be pre-approved and are only permitted in designated cabins.

               Cabins 1 & 3 have a no dog policy. Max 2 dogs, 75lb limit.

·    Rules: Dogs must be crated when unattended and are strictly prohibited from furniture and beds. The owner must leash pets and clean up waste immediately. Take dogs with you on outings. The owner is responsible for cleaning up after the dog, including shedding & slobber, and waste.

4.     Cabin Care & Prohibited Items

·       No smoking: Smoking is prohibited inside all cabins. Use the provided outdoor containers for butts. Excess cleaning charges will apply if caught smoking inside.

·       Well & Septic: Conserve Water. Flush only provided Scott toilet paper. Flushing wipes, paper towels, or feminine products will result in a guest-paid plumbing and cleanup charge.

·       Theft & Damage:  Guests are liable for the full replacement cost of missing or damaged property, including linens, pillows,  kitchenware, furniture, landscaping, and excessive cleanup.

·       Prohibited Items: Candles, incense, BB guns, loaded weapons, axes, and hatchets are strictly prohibited. No out -of-the-area firewood can be brought to the forest. Large amounts of alcohol and illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.

5.    Conduct and Safety

·       Quiet time: 10 PM to 8 AM. Disruptive behavior will result in a warning, followed by police intervention without refund.

·       EV Charging: Charging electric vehicles is $12 per day. Unreported usage is charged double.

·       Child Supervision: Adults must supervise children at all times, including on the playground.

6.    Essential Packing List & Extras

·       We provide: Bed linens, blankets, pillows, basic cookware, dishes, dish soap/towel, bath mat, coffee pot, filters, toilet paper, and garbage bags. Air Conditioning is $15 per day.

·       You bring: Bath towels, beach towels, toiletries, a hair dryer, and lawn chairs.

7.    Hot Tub Policy

·       Sanitation Rules: You must rinse all bathing suits in the sink, regardless of whether new or previously laundered. (3 minutes) Bathing suits only. You must shower prior to every entry with bar soap only, not body wash. Be sure your feet are clean before entering. Bring an extra bathing suit for the river, so you don't contaminate the water with bacteria. You will be signing an agreement for the hot tub upon arrival.

·       Not Permitted: No visitors permitted to use the spa. No regular street clothes permitted. No Sex, no bath bombs, ladies on their period, no glass, and no alcohol.
