What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is any time after 3:00 PM, and check-out is any time before 11:00 AM. Early check-ins and late check-outs are not permitted to ensure adequate time for cleaning and sanitizing the cabins.
Is there a minimum stay requirement?
Yes. There is a 2-night minimum stay requirement. During holidays and special weekends, a 3-night minimum stay is required. One-night stays are only permitted if a single night is available between two other reservations.
Can I book a weekly rental from Saturday to Saturday?
No. Weekly rentals must include both Friday and Saturday nights of the same weekend. Saturday-to-Saturday weekly rentals are not available.
What is the deposit policy?
A 50% deposit is required at the time of reservation. The remaining balance is due upon check-in.
What payment methods are accepted?
Accepted payment methods include credit cards (excluding American Express), cash, and money orders. Personal checks and American Express cards are not accepted.
Is there a security deposit?
Yes. A $250 security deposit hold is placed on your credit card at check-in.
What is the cancellation policy?
All deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances. Once a reservation is made, there are no refunds. Departing early does not constitute a cancellation.
What happens if I don't show up for my reservation?
If you do not show up for your reservation, your deposit will be forfeited, and the remaining balance will be charged to your credit card.
Is there any way to receive a refund if I need to cancel?
If you have opted into the 'Worry-Free Bookings' option and follow the guidelines set by the booking agency, you may be eligible for a full refund. Certain restrictions apply.
Are dogs allowed in the cabins?
Dogs are allowed on the premises but must be reported to the office staff. However, dogs are not permitted in Cabins 1 and 3.
Is smoking permitted in the cabins?
Smoking is prohibited inside the cabins. Please use the provided butt containers for cigarette disposal and do not throw cigarette butts on the grounds.
Is firewood available for purchase?
Yes. Firewood is available for purchase at $5 per bundle and can be found at your cabin. You will be given 8 bundles to start, and more can be delivered upon request. Payment can be made in cash or charged to your credit card. Starter logs and matches are available upon request.
Can I bring my own firewood?
No. Please refrain from bringing firewood from outside the area to avoid introducing invasive species that could harm the forest.
What items are provided in the cabins?
The cabins are equipped with linens, pillows, blankets, bedspreads, cooking and eating utensils, pots and pans, dishes, dish towel and cloth, scour pad, dish detergent, coffee pot and filters, toaster, microwave, refrigerator, stove, toilet paper, hand soap, and a cloth bath mat. Air conditioning is available during the summer months for $20 per day.
What should I bring with me?
It is recommended to bring bath towels, shampoo, soap, a hairdryer, outside chairs, beach towels, bathing suits, and bug spray. During the winter months, bring additional warm clothing or blankets as air conditioning is not available.
